5.5.0 is still a relatively minor release from a new feature perspective. The main thrust has been bug fixes. This is appropriate. SugarCRM had grown fast with function increments taking priority over quality. With 5.5.0 we're starting to see this trend reversed and the application now very stable.
The main new functionality is:
- Activity Reports -From the Activities module, you can now run reports to view all activities related to a record or to a user during a specified time period.
- Emails - some upgrades to the editor and server connections
- Target Lists - You can now add records from the List View of Accounts, Contacts, Leads, and Targets to an existing target list.
