Hi there, we're running into a few problems with our installation and really need some insight asap.

When we installed Advanced Open Portal, having first installed Advanced Open Sales, we are getting MySQL errors, these disappear when we uninstall Advanced Open Portal.

Secondly, and more importantly perhaps is the fact that with AOP isntalled, when we create a portal user from within the CRM, say from an existing contact, and then try to log into Joomla, a duplicate account is created in Sugar.

Thirdly, we are getting a "this user does not have portal access" error whenever we try to create a ticket.

We really need your help to get this working as soon as possible! Login credentials for joomla and sugar can be provided if needed.

Hi Tim,

Please try the following:

1.) Perform a Quick Repair & Rebuild(Admin -> Repair),
2.) Rebuild relationships(Admin -> Repair),
3.) Repair roles(Admin -> Repair),
4.) Check portal settings are enabled correctly(Admin -> AOP Settings).

What are the results of this?

Thanks,

Will.

Hi Will, thanks for your suggestions.

We have managed to fix the second problem but the first and last still exist.

We really need a quick solution to this!

Hi Tim,

What MySQL errors are you receiving? What errors are you receiving in your error log if any?

Thanks,

Will.

Hi again Will,

The MySQL error no longer exists after your initial suggestions (apologies, that was some mis-communication on our side), it is just the "this user does not have portal access" message that we have left to resolve. There's nothing in the PHP error log pertaining to this issue.

Thanks as always for your quick replies

Hi Tim,

It is known that this error may occur in two instances:

1.) The user was created in Joomla, so does not have a Sugar ID and is therefore not properly synced with SugarCRM.
2.) The user has been disabled in SugarCRM.

Please check if either of these conditions apply to any of your users.

Thanks,

Will.
